THE GETTYSBURG CHAMPIONSHIP THE LINKS AT GETTYSBURG
The Gettysburg Championship will hold Pro-Am's on Wednesday August 20 and Thursday August 21. Regarded by many past participants as one of the best Pro-Am's on the Duramed FUTURES Tour, The Gettysburg Championship is your opportunity to play with some of the brightest, upcoming stars in ladies professional golf.

Schedule of Events (Both days - Wednesday August 20 and Thursday August 21)
6:0 0AM Registration opens
6:00 AM until 7:30AM Fabulous buffet breakfast served by Ginger Babies Catering
7:45 AM Player instructions and departure for assigned starting hole
8:00 AM until 1:00PM Golf with a musket start (ending time is approximate)
1:00 PM until 3:00PM Prize ceremony and outstanding buffet lunch served by The Altland House
3:00 PM until 4:00PM Amateur Putting Contest & Professional Putting Contest
4:00 PM until 4:30PM Head-To-Head Putting Contest between the amateur winner and the professional winner

Format
Foursomes (3 amateurs and 1 professional) playing an Open Scramble with no restrictions on number of drives used, etc. There are no mulligans and every team is accompanied by a volunteer ambassador to assist the team as a spotter, scorekeeper and helper. This format should allow for a maximum 5 hour playing time, weather permitting.

Men and professionals will play the tournament tees, ladies and seniors (over 60 years) will play their respective tees.

Tee Gifts and Prizes
Every amateur will receive several first-class tee gifts at various tees throughout the playing round, plus beverages and snacks are available on the course.

Performance prizes are awarded to first, second and third place in 3 flights (determined after play based on total team scores) plus there are closest-to-the-pin prizes for all par 3's and long drive prizes in three divisions - men's, ladies and seniors.

The winning amateur and professional will win prizes for their individual putting contests and the winner of the head-to-head contest will win additional prizes.

There are hole-in-one prizes - cars, fine jewelry and cash - available for any ace on every par 3 hole.
