The First Tee of Susquehanna Valley
The primary charitable purpose of The First Tee of Susquehanna Valley shall be the education, training and guidance of youth through mentoring and instruction in the game of golf.

Our purpose is to teach and model personal character traits that will help pre-teens and teens to succeed in life. We believe golf is an excellent game when it comes to teaching these core values. The First Tee's Nine Core Values are honesty, integrity, sportsmanship, respect, confidence, responsibility, perseverance, courtesy and judgment.

Golf Fore Africa
Whether or not you have ever visited Africa, you know how very different our lives are from those children who live with the disease of AIDS, poverty and no parents.

Besty King, 2007 Solheim Cup captainBetsy King, LPGA Hall of Fame golfer and 2007 Solheim Cup captain, founded Golf Fore Africa after seeing first hand the Hidden Faces of AIDS and the terrible plight of these orphan children in Rwanda in 2006.

Working with World Vision (www.worldvision.org) and the LPGA, she started a campaign to raise $250,000 to support an initial project in Mudasomwa, Rwanda.
